Herbicide spraying is best done early to maintain control. Controlling weeds when they are small is so much easier than trying to control them when they are large and woody. By doing so less chemical will be required and weed germination will be better managed.
A weed that is controlled the first time is less likely to develop chemical resistance. On the other hand if a weed is sprayed and isn’t controlled, over time it is possible for resistance to develop toward that herbicide.
We operate within a firm set of weather and soil moisture parameters to achieve excellent results when it comes to controlling weeds.
